Tātparya:
In this ślōka, guru Śrī Rāghavēndraru has been addressed as त्मवित्(ātmavit).

त्मवित्(ātmavit) means one who has realised his true inner self or nature. He who does not know his own self, cannot know the Lord. He who knows his inner self can know the Lord. Therefore त्मवित्(ātmavit) means one who knows the Lord. Knowing the Lord means knowing everything ofcourse, subject to the innate capacity and level of attainment of realisation as per one’s discriminatory capacity.

Therefore as Rayaru knows our स्वरूप योग्यता(Svarūpayōgyatā i.e. inherent or innate nature ordained capacity) he is able to give us what we desire as per our prayers to the Lord. Is only they that possess everything, that can give to us anything. If we ask the empty-handed ones, what can they give us?
First, we need to cleanse ourselves from all the dirt. Then we need to replenish with all that is pure or clean. As such, here it is prayed for that may the guru firstly help rid us of the various defects that fill us based on our karmas (innate nature ordained actions), or what comes unto us from our links to our near and dear ones or also, the afflictions that grip us from our bodies that are made up of / shaped by the five elements (earth, water, fire, air and ether). Once the defects or afflictions are resolved, may the guru give us all the पुरुषार्थ(Puruṣārtha), is what is implored in this prayer.

The first Ślōka mentions the process of the prayer and then in the next Ślōka, it is brought out that whosoever prays to the guru, at the three time-nodes each day, all their wishes would be granted and that such people would, through the guru’s and thereon, by the Grace of God,  enjoy blissfulness in their lives in this world as also in their after lives in the next(higher) world. This is what accrues to one as the fruits, one who prays to Rayaru, in the right manner, informs Appaṇācāryaru in these Ślōkas.
